Gratitude in May

Though I was still thinking very regularly about gratitude I had stopped writing down 1 thing I was grateful for each day... The way I was doing it was not working for me: instead of lifting my mood, it was boring and annoying me. I had either too many things to write down or not a single "new" item...

I did Ali's Week in the Life project last week and decided to write down three things each evening that made me happy that day and for which I was grateful (just like Karen does every day). Surely I could do this for a week! Well it worked and was far easier than I could have imagined. So I've decided to do this for a month and see how that goes... So May will be my Gratitude Month and it seems fitting as this is also my birthday month!

May 1st Gratitudes:
- preparing my stuff for tomorrow's crop - very exciting
- starting my WITL project in Photoshop using Karen's templates and tweaking them (with some success) to meet my specific needs
- a loving and very patient husband who was a great help today (I was in pain and feeling really down today)

May 2nd:
-driving to and back from the crop with hardly any traffic - I love driving but loose my patience fairly quickly when stuck in traffic!
- scrapbooking and chatting with friends
- watching some dramatic sunshine-thunder clouds light on my way home - simply stunning

And a very special thank you to Karen for keeping me inspired with her daily diary and gratitude posts!
